We hadn't eaten here for 2 years. My daughter and the lil kids went. It was great and not expensive. Food was perfect. More than we could eat, we shared. Service was quick and friendly. They were very busy. Friday night.

My server was an older gentleman that took pride in his job. He was very efficient and humorous. My handmade tortillas were delicious! The hot chips were so yummy! The green sauce they served with our salsa was super yummy! Excellent fajitas! The chicken and steak in ours was so tender!

My family of five had intended on going to Gringos in Pearland, but they don’t take reservations and said it was a 45-60 minute wait. Nope! We walked into Luna’s and were immediately greeted and seated. The waiter was quick with our drink order and the chip guy was Johnny on the spot with 2 bowls of chips and 4 bowls of salsa. As you can see, my daughter and I shared the beef fajitas for two. They were sizzling, perfectly cooked and at 33.95, a heck of a lot cheaper than Gringos. Heather, the manager, stopped by our table to say hello and ask about our experience (nice touch). Finally, the ice cream cones...sure every area Mexican restaurant does this...but this ice cream tasted real, not just an icy milk concoction. I highly recommend Luna’s as your go to Mexican restaurant in Friendswood. Pearland can keep Gringos.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Luna’s Mexican Restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. We ordered the fajitas, quesadillas, and the kids' chicken strips plate. The meats were incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and the quesadillas were equally delicious. I especially appreciated that the kids' chicken strips were well-seasoned not bland at all. Even my picky eater enjoyed them, which says a lot! The complimentary chips and salsas were excellent. The red salsa had a nice kick without being overwhelming, while the green salsa was my personal favorite, light and fresh, although it's worth noting that it’s not a thick salsa, which may not be for everyone. We opted for sweet tea with our meal, which was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, just right. I can’t speak to the alcoholic beverages, as we didn’t try any on this visit. The homemade tortillas were absolutely outstanding, soft, warm, and full of authentic flavor. Truly some of the best I’ve had! To finish off our meal, we enjoyed the vanilla soft-serve ice cream, which had a delightful Mexican vanilla twist. It was far from your typical bland vanilla and made for a perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean. Although the restaurant has been around for several years, we visited right when they opened for the day and were immediately greeted with a fresh, clean scent throughout the space. The staff is amazing, patient, and welcoming. Overall, Luna’s delivered an excellent dining experience, and I highly recommend it for families and anyone looking for flavorful, authentic Mexican food in a comfortable setting.
